That was the title of the email I sent to my mum last night. Wasn't an interesting email, but I could not think of a title for this blog post. I really don't have much to say.
I have enacted the "Closed Door Policy 2007" and people are under instruction not to bother me. Last year it was called, "Shutdown", but saying that makes it seem like I might be having some kind of willful breakdown, which I am not. CDP07 means no contact when the door is closed: wireless shut off, mobile off, no accepting phone calls, no interruptions till the thing I am doing, whether it be exam study or assignment writing, is finished. Or well on its way. Today I wrote over 3000 words so I have the door open. It a silly policy, but it helps me work.
I am playing scrabulous rather obsessively at the moment - another reason for the CDP07, but I am still keeping up with the 6 games I am playing simultaneously. If you would like to have a bit of a go, challenge me to an email duel. www.scrabulous.com
