I swear that I wrote other blog posts after the massaging and fish sticks. I referred to that one in another one that was done later. Another strange thing to have happened is that all of my bookmarks have disappeared from my firefox bookmarks. ALL OF THEM. I know where the backups of them are kept, but it is very annoying to have to deal with dumbo computers.
One of the reasons why I have not been spending so much time here is that I am now completely addicted to Facebook and Scrabulous. These are my only two pursuits. Forget any assignment, research application proposal shenanigans or going to an interview for the graduate position at the National Library. That is all by the by when it comes to my likeness rating with someone I know already, or sharing my film tastes with one of my friends that I actually would have probably gone out and seen films with already, oR the best part, playing scrabble with my mother via email while we are sharing the same house.
I love Helen Razer. Always have. Listened to her from the age of 17 when she did the metal show on JJJ. Here's some comment about the election. I love Helen's comments about anything, and now particuarly, the election. Just one last thing about the election. It seems we are having an election campaign without an election being called. I do not recall, although I admit to not taking that much notice, that this has not happened so much in the past? Do we usually call it without knowing when it will be? How much notice does Mr Howard need to give? I have already quit both my jobs - I did them 6 and 8 weeks in advance. I would have thought the nation, in particular the government printing press and the Electrol Commission, need a bit of time to organise such thing as a nation wide vote. Maybe I am not seeing how efficient they already work. I know they are in cahoots with Centrelink about where i am living. Everytime I move I get a letter within 4 weeks demanding I change my enrol to vote information and thus be vulnerable to generic political greetings from new electorate member. Meh.
